JP Superstore is one of the largest shopping centers in Guam and has become a recognizable icon and a major tourist destination.  Added as an additional service package for the architectural contract, the owner requested a rebranded logo and aesthetic for the shopping center.  The design team sought to modernize and simplify the original logo while still keeping the original appeal of the brand.
The design team proposed two design options for the owner.  The first design focused on redeveloping the shopping center’s original logo and repurposing the the palm tree into a tropical flower.
The second design focused on modernizing and catering to the shopping center’s many designer/streetwear brands.
Both design options were presented, with the first option being chosen as the final logo.
